- Will I ever see my baby again?
Yes, Open Adoptions are based on the careful establishment of trusting relationships
- Can I choose the adoptive parents?
Yes. We encourage you to be involved in the process of choosing the best parents for your baby. Our agency provides families who are licensed, trained and have completed home studies according to Colorado Law.
- What does open adoption mean?
Open Adoption means, having an open heart to the best possible outcome for your child, which reflects the loving intentions of both birth parents and adoptive parents. It requires building relationships of trust…one step at a time.
- Will I have lots of support through the process?
Each parent has unique needs and those needs are attended to individually. Often mothers get to meet and befriend one another, providing necessary support.
- How will I live with my self if I make an adoption plan?
During the counseling process, you are encouraged to explore your motivation to place your baby for adoption and the deep reasons for your adoption plan. After the adoption, you review and renew your compassionate understanding of yourself and your decision.
