Personal Vision of Adoption.

Jude is passionately connected to her adoption work. Adopted at 6 months, she has lived the reality and faced the challenges in a “devotion to reality” kind of style. She believes that Adoptive Parents are powerful resources for children and key to successful adoptions. She believes the power of Loving Kindness and Compassion are the material that builds the bridge between Adoptive Parents and Birth Parents, making it possible for beautiful love stories to evolve. Jude feels honored to have the incredible opportunity to get to know Adoptive Parents so intimately.

As the mother of three beautiful daughters and four magical grand children; family is the Center of Jude’s life. As the matriarch of her growing family, Jude is devoted to the ongoing process of creating a beautiful family culture. This is a never ending process filled with endless opportunities for deepening and beautifying as a family. Jude tries to inspire the families she works with to have a vision for creating a beautiful family culture in their families. She never ceases to be amazed at the motivation and devotion adoptive parents have to their roles as parents to their children. As the Agency’s Parent Trainer, it is an ongoing joy for Jude to teach such highly motivated parents. And it is an ongoing joy every time a child is placed with a couple who’s heart and home has been prepared with care.

Jude is also devoted to the healing journey of Adoptive Parents and believes that the Adoption process can be a time when couples can renew their hearts from the ravages of infertility. Jude gives couples a safe environment into which they can share their stories and find compassion and support. She has created a group training opportunity for couples that provides many opportunities for deep healing. It is Jude’s desire for each couple, that their adoption process be a time of healing, deepening in love for one another, and meeting and making friendships that will last a lifetime and support their adoption story. Jude refers to adoption as a “Spiritual Pregnancy” and hope that it is a beautiful and life changing experience for those who dare to open their hearts to a very special love story.
